”As the configuration possibilities were almost unlimited, we needed an easy way of describing the complex system for everyone to understand.”

We were in great need of describing the proposed module system and how the module variants could be combined into products. As the configuration possibilities were almost unlimited, we needed an easy way of describing the complex system for everyone to understand.

By using a combination of illustrations and text I could step by step build a complete set of visualizations to describe the entire system, with the possibility to navigate between all information.

With that, all of us in the project team could feel more secure and confident that we had defined a good module system. And at the same time we also realized and corrected some mistakes in an early stage. It was very well appreciated, especially from people joining the team in a later stage – and several times I got the task to update it during the progress of the project
