DISQUARE Becomes Distribution Partner for PALMA®, a Modular Management SaaS solution, to Drive Transformation in Product Architecture and Configuration Management

Tokyo, Japan and Stockholm, Sweden – April 1, 2025 – Modular Management, a global leader in modular product architecture and configuration lifecycle management, is pleased to announce a new strategic partnership with DI Square Co., Ltd., which has been appointed as the official distributor of PALMA® in Japan.

As a sales distributor, DI Square will promote PALMA as a transformative solution for product architecture management and configuration lifecycle management, while also developing system interfaces that support enterprise-wide digital transformation (DX) and business growth across industries in Japan.

“In today’s hyper-competitive world, agility and high product quality are critical,” said Nobutaka Honda, President of DI Square. “Managing not just the mechanical aspects, but also the software that delivers real customer value, requires precise and de-siloed control. We believe that PALMA is a uniquely positioned solution, developed with innovative perspectives not previously seen in the industry. We look forward to helping Japanese enterprises use PALMA to govern and orchestrate their operations as a true enterprise-wide platform.”

This partnership aims to integrate PALMA with digital engineering solutions to offer end-to-end traceability—from software requirement specifications through to function realization, configuration control, and product modularization. DI Square positions itself as a key enabler of digital engineering integration, empowering customers to achieve seamless alignment between engineering processes and product configuration.

“We are excited to welcome DI Square as our distribution partner for PALMA in Japan,” said Fredrik Erbing, EVP of PALMA at Modular Management. “This collaboration expands our ability to support Japanese customers not only through consulting on modular strategies, but also by addressing their challenges in specification management and solution implementation.”

This collaboration marks the start of a new chapter in engineering configuration management and modular design innovation.
