MY SHORT STORY

”Invest in your colleagues. We are all individuals with different drivers and means to success. Making sure that people have the right tool and information set is very important. If the expectations are clear, they will deliver and give back so much more.”

Please Introduce Yourself

I have 15 years of experience within the sales and product configuration world for manufacturers. During my career, I have been stationed in Stockholm, Sweden, and Chicago, IL. In my roles, I have seen success in many different types of corporations all over Europe, Japan and the US. There are still ways to go to create fully seamless operations, and I am looking forward to being part of that journey, especially for emerging and new markets.

Which are the Main Challenges Facing Business and Industry Today?

Most everyone in leading positions knows they need to change their company and industry to adapt to a more digital future. I believe we’re only in the beginning.

With the amount of information and solutions available it is easy to become overburdened by the amount of choice. That’s why I think it is important for manufacturers to step back and look at the important pieces that are elementary to their business proposition.

PALMA can be a critical tool for creating a joint product trajectory. It enables an elevated picture of the product in relation to the market and business model. This is necessary for better strategic decisions. Taking full ownership of the information and how it is being shared is critical, especially for customers with a large or complex product and solution variance.

How to do More with Less?

Iterate and release. This way, you will receive input on leverage to know if you are doing the right thing from others scrutinizing your work. Adapting a change mindset allows you to make small mistakes at a time but constantly change for the better.

Your Advice to Companies?

Invest in your colleagues. We are all individuals with different drivers and means to success. Making sure that people have the right tool and information set is very important. If the expectations are clear, they will deliver and give back so much more. One of the expectations should be to constantly challenge and develop processes and remove bottlenecks. Digital traceability, transparency, autonomy, and accountability are core enablers for individuals.

What are Your Personal or Professional Drivers?

Professionally I am driven by our customers' success journey. It’s a cliché, but for all my professional career, that is what best summarizes my drive. I love hearing about decreased lead times, reduced complexities, and faster GTM. It’s very tangible, and being able to provide tools that enable this opportunity of a digital revolution in manufacturing companies is a lot of fun.

In my personal life, I am driven by my change too. I like being creative and challenging myself to learn new things: developing my cooking skills, taking better pictures, improving my running and swimming stamina, and exploring the world. You never know what the next adventure is around the corner.

What Surprises You?

I am not easily surprised, but when I meet complacency, I become even more curious, especially if there’s an easy way to improve the situation.
