"Strong companies need to not only build on their key strengths and technology but also evolve ways of work and capabilities to become composable."
First, Please Introduce Yourself
I´m a business and project-oriented manager that oversees our Asia Pacific efforts, with a clear focus on Japan. I was previously a client of Modular Management before joining the company and have experienced executing a large Modularization program, including all capabilities that MM provides to secure a successful outcome.
Which are the Main Challenges Facing Business and Industry Today?
Speed of change, increasing business complexity, and the rapid evolution of technologies. How can I transform my technology and business at the same time as I need to transform the organizations while the competition is ahead.
How to do More with Less?
Modular and configurable product architectures that work across product families, support innovation and technology deployment in a system, such as PALMA®.
Defining modular systems is not new, but the customer-centric and holistic approach where multiple organizations and roles need to collaborate while driving the need for a common information model and methodology is where Modular Management excels. PALMA not only provides the best-in-class tool to support your digitalization, but it also includes all the world-leading knowledge that has been the foundation of transforming over 200 companies for the last 25 years.
Your Advice to Companies?
Strong companies need to not only build on their key strengths and technology but also evolve ways of work and capabilities to become composable. With this foundation in place, companies can swiftly respond to market changes, efficiently develop, and deliver new products and be resilient to unexpected disruptions. The transformational scope and capabilities of Modular Management are, from my own first-hand experience as a customer, the key enabler to this change and being prepared for the future.
What are Your Personal or Professional Drivers?
I like to learn new things and new technologies while also supporting individuals and organizations to become a winning team and realize a winning outcome. That gives me energy and satisfaction!
What Surprises You?
I still get surprised by the similarities of key challenges between industry segments, companies, and technologies when it comes to the ability to manage complexity, distributive change, and what is needed to stay ahead.
Even though it’s never one solution that fixes all, with a fully implemented modular and configurable product and business architecture, and developing the right organizational capabilities, you can make wonders.
